6 Days Flexirod Set

I’m fully on team roller/flexirod set!  In my head – winter will go something like this:  rollerset or flexirods until I am about 6 weeks post then wig for one month until my touch up at 10 weeks (you like how I turned the word ‘wig’ into a verb, don’t you?! lmbo!).  Here is my flexirod set after 6 days, plus I completely combed through it once because I planning to do an updo but ended up changing my mind.
Curls still intact.  Remember I used no setting lotion or foam while setting!  I moisturized and sealed only 3 times this week because my hair felt really great and there wasn’t a need to do it daily.  Another testament to how well the Kerapro worked.  Hair is still SUPER shiny after 6 days!  Ends aren’t rough or frizzy looking or feeling.
Love it!  AND, my hair is hanging gently on my shoulders even while curled.  NLV!
Pardon the nearly naked face…I’m gonna have cute pics coming really soon.  Promise! lol
But on another note…don’t my brows look FIERCE?!  No penciling either baby!
I plan on washing either today or tomorrow and doing another, but slightly different flexi set.
Gonna ride this train as long as I can!

    I. AM. JEALOUS. I can barely get two days out of my curlformer sets and that’s with Bee Mine curly butter. I guess I should add that I haven’t had a relaxer in seven months. I don’t have anything against them. I just needed to give my edges a break. Love your blog!

It looks great after 6 days!! I’m on day five and I have some friz. But I’m into the more wild look for my roller sets so I like it when it gets that way. I will do mine again on Sunday and go at it until I get bored. That usually happens after about a month or so.

Looks really good for 6 days. Isn’t it awesome when you find a style that you really like? And your brows look good

@MrsDJ – I checked out your blog (believe I am now following) and yes girl, you are transitioning, I doubt I would get much wear if I had 7 months of virgin hair either! Thanks!

@Shereen – thank you! I am currently using Bee Mine Luscious Cream. Its such a great moisturizer for the winter!

@Ticka – thank you! I agree, even with the “bigness” of this old set, it works! I too am gonna keep going until I get bored. I’m hoping I last a couple of months.

@Ally, thank you! And I agree – whenever you are excited to do your hair it is such a great feeling! thx regarding the brows also, went to someone new and she did an awesome job!

I need to get some flexirods in my life! Very pretty. You are so dedicated to your journey and have inspired me to get back on track!
