I am SO excited for you to meet the Longing 4 Length team!!! I’ve been nearly bursting with excitement ever since this collaboration was created! L4L was established as a personal blog to document my hair growth and progress and I have loved every minute of sharing my journey with you. However, as interesting as I personally find my hair to be – I realize there are other aspects of healthy hair care that I am unable to properly address due to being relaxed. I am all about healthy hair for ALL types and textures and want L4L to serve as support, inspiration and a resource for information to help you achieve your hair goals no matter what your styling choices may be. To that end, there are three fabulous ladies with gorgeous natural hair who will be writing for Longing 4 Length regularly to cater to the needs that I am unable to meet. So without further ado allow me to introduce each to you!
Since introducing L4L Chic Chick, I’ve received several requests to continue to incorporate fashion into the blog. We will never move away from hair, so Kelly will give us all the latest deets on celebrity styles, how to achieve the look for less, and of course hair styling suggestions to match the fabulous fashion!
Kelly Monroe, Fashion Blogger. Kelleashia who is more affectionately known as Kelly, is a full time health care employee and graduate student. She loves all things fashion related from hair, makeup, clothing and shoes! Her hobbies include blogging, personal styling, and expanding her mind through learning new things. Her blog showcases fashion trends for the curvy and confident and recently it has centered on her glorious mane of blonde tresses. Check her out at kellymonroe.blogspot.com, she will not disappoint!
Roni, Natural Hair Blogger. Also known as Chic Roni, is a wife, mom, self-proclaimed fashionista and blogger. Obsessed with (in no particular order) natural hair, makeup, shopping, social media and coupons. You will probably find me (and my curls) on the cosmetics aisle coupons in one hand, cell in the other looking for the perfect lip gloss. Monèt, Natural Hair Blogger. Monèt is the founder and creator of Curls and Mo. Monèt has been in love with her natural hair since November 2009 when she saw the movie “Good Hair” and decided to start transitioning. She was completely liberated in January 2011 when she cut off the last of her relaxer. Monèt dedicates her personal time to family and friends and being active in several different charities. In addition, she enjoys educating other naturals about their hair and journey. Monèt’s motto is “be the change you want to see” and she lives in New York.
