Look 4 Less: Black and White Fashion

When it comes to fashion trends, I get inspiration from anywhere.  A lot of my personal fashion inspirations come from magazines!  Black and white fashion pairings are one of those timeless trends that will not fade.  After wracking my brain with ideas on what my first post on L4L should be about, I came across one of Blake Lively’s recent looks in People StyleWatch!  Ironically it was featured in the look for less section and lo and behold the lesser priced pant were a recent purchase of mine!

I really like this look! It is  very clean and effortless.  Black and white fashion can be easily transitioned from work to happy hour as well!  I tried locating the pants I have on but they are sold out but don’t fret I found a cheaper pair on JCPenney!  Don’t sleep on them ladies…Penney’s has really stepped up their fashion game!

    Black and white looks truly are timeless, however, I personally have become a little sick of it, due to the simple reason that it is the required dress code for my profession. In my country, if you are a member of the legal fraternity and appear in court at all, you MUST wear ONLY black and white. Since my days as a prosecutor, more than 70% of my wardrobe consisted of black pants, white shirts, black shirts and black&white combo shirts. Which is why these days, especially over weekends I go a little crazy with color, lol.

      I can CERTAINLY understand that. I wear flats all week so when I have the chance to wear heels, I go crazy so I can relate! LOL!
