The L4L Protective Styling Challenge is finally here!!!
I apologize for getting this post up later than I originally stated. Normally I am super organized with my blogging schedule (as that is the only way I can possibly update as frequently as I do) but the holidays followed by being majorly ill put a wrench in my plans. Some of you have already posted your link and I feel horrible for you to have to do it again here with the “link” up tool – again please accept my deepest apology. In fact because of MY tardiness the sign up will be extended to January 15, 2013 so you will still have one week to post your submissions!
As a quick reminder, bloggers please use the link tool below to provide your starting length and posts. Non-bloggers, please use the commenting system to upload your starting photos. Check out the official rules and requirements for the challenge, but to simplify them quickly for you – PROTECT AND GROW YOUR HAIR! :-) Seriously, the only requirement is that you upload your starting and final photos and check in monthly on the each official check in post here on L4L. There are monthly mini-challenges and of course sharing the fabulous protective styles you create makes it much more fun, but in a nutshell all you have to do is take two photos and check in each month to be eligible for the prizes at the end. Monthly challenges are also listed in the original post for those who are new to L4L or perhaps missed the announcement.
I will have to update this post later this week myself with my OWN starting photo because the last length shot I have does not have any distinguishing landmarks to determine length retention. I hope you are all excited and while this is a VERY rocky start to the challenge, trust me it will be GREAT! I have planned some cute styles and the L4L team is all in as well!
Many of you have asked about international participation and eligibility for winning the grand prize. I am working on determining which countries I can ship the dryer of your choosing via Amazon. Non-bloggers, Vivica Fox Hair will only be shipping to the US. I will get specifics on if that includes Canada, US territories, etc. for you. Pardon my ignorance in not realizing just how diverse L4L readers are! Okay, that being said, I can’t wait to see your entries – I’ve already found some new blogs to stalk!
Let’s Go Ladies!!!
