I would venture to say that most people start their “lifestyle change” with a determined mind and excited spirit, but often feel their enthusiasm wane a few months in. In the beginning, sticking to a healthy diet was not difficult but a person can eat plain meals of baked chicken and steamed broccoli but so many times, right? So, how can you make eating healthy interesting but keep still it relatively simple?
Lastly, buy a few gadgets that make traditional cooking easier. My favorite kitchen appliances are my Magic Bullet, George Foreman grill and slow cooker. Not only do they make cooking healthy SO much easier, but it cuts my prep and clean up time by more than half! Healthy eating does not have to be tedious or repetitive – if that is your approach then you will surely become bored with your new lifestyle and quickly fall back into your old, unhealthy habits.
